Mention that the sale is on first come first served basis. Also mention the time when prospective buyers can come and have a look at it. Try to avoid brokers because they would take away a sizeable cut. But if you are in a hurry or are moving, then contacting brokers can be a better decision. Giving away to charities is another way to dispose off used items.
